Buying from Italy

You shouldn't have a problem. Most chargers now are rated at 100 to 230 volts so will work everywhere. As for the language that is easily changed in the menu as far as I know. Best of luck with your new camera when it arrives. If the printed manual is in Italian you can download an English version online.

The AF system will automatically track Ferrari's and Lamborghini's, otherwise all else should be OK.

    ;)

I had just realised that it was only the camera body, lol.
So I came across this website:
    eglobal
I called them up about customs and vat charges, as it ships from hong kong and they said its all payed for there is no hidden charges.
I was wondering would that be the same situation for me if I were to buy from China rather Italy, battery, charger, DC input, HDMI, AV, USB, etc... even the software supplied - are these all workable in Ireland and elsewhere ?

Bit disingenuous of them to show a photo of the camera with a lens attached and then further down say it's a body only. Would have been just as easy to show a pic of the body only.
