Building Heavy Storage Unit

    Hi,

I plan to make the most of a utility room. I want to build a storage area, which will hold the washing machine, and above that, the dryer.

Rather than using timber I imagine I would have to use steel framing to hold these in place?

    Any advice on this?

Best I could find online was building shelving with wood... http://diydoneright.com/projects/garage-organization/heavyduty-shelving-unit/

    Thanks!
