going to college while on the dole

    If you are on the dole for 7 months can you apply to do a college course and keep receiving your JSA even though it takes 9 months to qualify for back to education allowance?

    You can apply to do a college course, but you most likely wont keep your dole as you cannot be actively seeking work and be in college at the same time. As others have already advised, you should apply for BTEA. If you apply at this stage, you might be approved by Sept.
