    Hi there,

I am 36, my wife is 32 and we want to go to Canada on the IEC program. I understand that it is only for people under 35, but I'm trying to figure out is there any way around this. Could my wife apply and I could then accompany her as a dependent, or do we both have to be eligible for the IEC? If I did manage to go as a dependent, would they let me work?

    Thanks for any advice.

You both have to be under 35. You'd have to go via Express Entry at 36.
