Vice City: Multiplayer is an unofficial multiplayer modification to the PC version of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, a game developed by Rockstar North and released in 2003. The aim of VC:MP is to integrate rich and entertaining multiplayer capabilities into the original game.

    This is Vice City: Multiplayer.

    An interactive world.

Vice City Multiplayer is a modification for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City that allows players from around the world to join together and play Vice City in whatever style they like.
As many as 100 players can join a single server, and any player is welcome to start their own server with their own rules and gameplay. From race to deathmatch to roleplay, VC:MP lets you do it.

    An extensible mod.

Not only does VC:MP add multiplayer functionality, it offers server owners a large degree of control over how their server's world looks and acts.
Tired of vanilla Vice City? Throw in a highway! Add your own weapon pickups or delete buildings and put HD versions in their place.

    Smooth and stable.

VC:MP offers sync that is more refined than other GTA multiplayers and has been tried and tested by our community. Vehicles drive smoothly with less warp and combat is less confusing.
The client is also highly stable with various testing phases having ironed out many bugs, and crashes, should they occur, are recoverable in many cases.

    Stabiity:

Probably the second best game (after Portal) ever made. Every GTA game should be set in the 1980's.

I'll have a server up and running friday (or tomorrow if there is demand) for the weekend. If anybody wants to drop by for an ass whooping or some stunting around.

Server name: MTA 0.5 NoName Server [gulk.tk]

Been nearly a year since you posted this thread, was there any notable updates since then?

Never played VCMP but spent a massive amount of time on San Andreas MP, that had some insanely fun mini-game servers like destruction derbys in the sky and zombie games.
