Rescue kittens, pet insurance

We are considering adopting two rescue kittens aged six months old, both of which have had minor operations (one for a dislocated knee, the other for eyelids). We intend to get pet insurance - would our new pets be completely excluded, or just these issues?

They will only be excluded for the issues they've been treated for. As with all pet insurance the sooner they're insured the better. Well done on rescuing them.:)
