Just wondering what ewe feed you are using & at what price?

Good quality 19% coming into the Sligo area from Longford direction for €253

Sounds good value but would need to know what's in it to see if the quality of protein is any good or not

Would have preferred more balanced and soya and maize but given that the ewes are on good quality dm silage they'll milk well enough off this.

Works out at about €293. Seems expensive especially when you see soya Hulls instead of soya bean meal.

A friend of mine got a 19% ration with the ingredients recommended by his advisor for €253 approx.

I got a ration similar to yours and I am not very pleased
