    Hey,
Just to let people know on here the Harry Potter society is up and running in UCD.
There's usually around 2 things happening a week, and its basically aimed to be like a mini hogwarts. Which means there is the auditor which is basically like the headmaster and the then the secretary, PRO, treasurer, the 4 head of houses which are ocm's, and then the freshers rep(also on ocm) are all basically like the teachers(not really but close enough)

There is a coffee morning tomorrow in the red room from 12-1

    Fully set up? Nice work!

What exactly does a Harry Potter society do, if you don't mind my asking?

Sorry for the late reply the internet has not liked me.

It is fully set up, we were granted recognition by the societies council last semester and started recruiting members at refreshers day.

Its a little difficult in describing what we do, we're quite social.
We have a few things planned such as quidditch, A very potter musical screenings (the second of the three is screening Thursday), coffee mornings (one tomorrow) to name a few.
We are planning a house pride/cup week of sorts but that won't be happening until after we're back from the reading weeks.

Triwizard tournament? That would be AWESOME! You could get Trinity and DCU to send teams!

That would be, although it might be a little difficult to plan this semester

Yeah, organising dragons is a logistical nightmare. But you already have a lake. And Newman Building is an absolute maze.

Then again all we'd need is someone wearing a dragon suit if we get stuck.
Don't need the muggles questioning the face of actual dragons
