You should try get in contact with a breeder, are you planning on breeding pbr bulls?

Hello thanks for that. I have been in contact with a few. There seems to be a big variation in prices asked depending how involved they are in pb scene . Some people seem to price them just above commercials some twice and three times above commercials . I know quality determines the price

I have a few PB Limousins. Go to a few society sales first and you'll get a feel for things. It's a buyers market at the moment. A lot of heifers go unsold even at Premier Sales. In a way it's no different than buying a commercial heifer. Buy what you like, and find out as much as you can about the breeding. Most bulls will have strengths and weakneses, so be carefull with 2 bulls in successive generations having the same weakness. You could have a heifer with very poor milk or very bad docility, etc.

Very hard to give a valuation for PB heifers online. We breed them but always sold the average ones through the mart and announced them as such. Breed sales would give you a good base average.

For private sales we always like to get in an independent valuer (local vet the last couple of times) and work off that.

For example we have three heifers now, six months between the three of them. however they're all the same weight. I would put the CWI heifer ahead of the other two and value her as such, whereas my father likes the RHF heifer and thinks she's the best of them. D'ya get me? It's just hard to give a ballpark figure on them, however I'm fairly sure that the 'known' herds will add a bit more to the value of heifers.
Whatever you buy, go for quality rather than quantity and build up from there yourself. Run of the mill stock can be two a penny but won't be worth as much in the long run.

To be honest, if you liked her then that is the reason that you bought her irrespective of price.
    Best of luck with her.
