Can anyone recommend a good place to get a few things such as water bottle and baracket, small pump and bracket, repair kit and small bag to strap on the back of the seat?

Online? Go and check http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ie/en/water-bottle-cages or http://www.wiggle.co.uk/cycle/
Probably the 2 biggest and best online stores. If you want real life shopping then where are you based? You could pick up the few bits in pretty much any local bike shop or Halfords

Cheers for that. I'm based in limerick. I do t mind if it's online or walk into a shop. I suppose you couldn't recommend a decent 3 bike carrier for a car without a hitch?

Decathlon is great. But you need to follow steps to get them to deliver to ireland. Basically select Belfast as your shop, add things to your basket to reserve and collect ( don't get it delivered ) then add a bag that costs 4.95 ( this civers delivery) then email Emma or call the shop and rather than wait for you to collect it she'll post it.
