A question about the seen icon on Facebook

I sent someone I rarely talk to anymore on facebook a message 6 weeks ago, however the seen icon only came under the mesaage last Friday, does this mean that the person didn't see my message until last Friday?

Afaik yes, they may not have been logged in until then.
