I have some shares in Kerry coop, They are there for years (back since the days of Golden Vale) I dont follow them and most of the time forget about them but I am really strapped for cash at the moment, its a short term issue but I need some extra cash asap..
Would cashing in a portion of these be a very bad decision?

Does anyone know when it may rain next and if so do you think it a good idea to buy an umbrella now?

I have no idea anyway whether Kerry co-op will convert shares or not this year.

I have the novena book out praying for a share exchange :-)

I have feed bills to pay. Am now sorry I did purchase all feed and Fertilizer from Kerry Agribusiness and ask them to take the payment from the €480 book value per share my CoOp shares ate worth, not the comical market value of the shares today.

The shareholders appear to want a share exchange but the 28 Kerry Co Op Board need the dividend income from the Group shares to pay their > €700k per annum expenses ;-)

Am not sure it's in the Kerry Co Op Boards interests to thus reduce the shareholding further.
The whole Kerry CoOp structure for both supplier and shareholders is currently disfunctional.
The Directors are currently the only winners in this protracted structure drags on.

Does anyone have any update on the Arbitration between Kerry Group and the Investment Holding company called Kerry co-op who happen to have some milk suppliers to Kerry Group as shareholders?

The Farming Newspaper I buy weekly were critical of Kerry Group for pushing forward quickly as it said to Arbitration... With the Co ops track record on the "Strategic Review" (that is costing us shareholders hundreds of thousands some 3 years later), it's a relief Kerry Group did push it on as otherwise the Arbitration result may slip out to 2019.... Based on the track record of the co op in getting results closed.

In reality, the coop are not being re-presented at the arbitration process anyway as they have no issues with the plc,its the plc milk suppliers only
