Looking for a physio for to sort an ongoing knee issue I have. Recall a chap from Dundrum been recommended before on here. Can't find that thread. I've been to physio before to sort this about 2 years ago but would rather someone with a bit of cycling knowledge this time. Have had a pro bike fit done too.

Aidan Woods, Pearse St. Physio. Not cycling specific, but very good and highly recommended.

Darren Kelly, Dk orthotics at Base2Race. Excellent Physio

I'd second Pearse St physio, whilst not cycling specific they sorted my cycling injuries. James Sherry treated me, Fermanagh Football captain so knows his stuff and comes highly recommended.

I third Pearse St Physio. Aidan Woods and his team proper sports physios. He treated my cycling related complaint successfully.

Another vote for Pearse St Physio. They sorted out my dodgy knee more than 3 years ago, haven't had any issues with the knee since.

It's Paul Tansey you are talking about, above Joe Daly's in Dundrum-pure gent.

I also went to Mark McCormick in Muscleworx, Kilcoole..Again, cycling and tri specific-absolutely excellent.

Will do, last time I had this issue I was off the bike for about 8 weeks, I hope I can recover quicker this time.

I went to Paul on a number of occasions 2 years ago, and as I said, I found him to be very good and a real gent.

One issue that he may not address is your cleat position-was this done on your bike fit? I found when once when I changed shoe brands that a repositioning (or indeed a wrong fit) of the cleats can give quite some discomfort.

    Just for info.

Thanks. Position hasn't changed I checked them. That's not to say there right. It was looked at at bike fit but there was no change made by fitter. I have changed cleats a few tine since. I have position marked on shoe so new cleats go in same place.

Went to Paul during the week. Nice fella. Reckons I have an imbalance issue with my hips and a weakness on the left side which is contributing to knee issues. He thinks 3 or 4 chiropractic sessions will put it right. Will give it a go and report back. Never noticed anything with my hips before but I'm willing to give it a try if it helps.
