Studying for the theory test

    Hi
I have the latest edition theory test book and tbh when I'm studying it I find it incredibly boring. Is there any other resources that I could use that would make it a bit more interesting to learn.
    Thanks :)

Dump the book and use the CD and just do mock tests. Much faster and easier way to learn/ pass the test. Read the book later after you have passed the test to know more if you want.

Would echo this. My test is in March, I've only ever done the mock tests on the CD. Pass about nine times out of ten at the moment. Just write down the ones you get wrong and learn them, most of the questions are common sense anyway. Except the safe braking distance ones. Pain in the ass.

To me the safe braking distances were common sense. The great thing about the mock tests is that it tells you what sections you are not good at and then you can do a mock test with questions taken just from those sections so you can cover them more.

I did about 14 mock tests and 2 for the sections I was weak at over a weekend and went and passed the test.

Some questions you have to learn off like the pictures of the Gard with his hand in the air. It's not clear at all and a very bad question without animation.

This quiz is handy when you want to study it on your phone! I used it along with the book to pass my theory.

Easons will have then, far as I know there's nothing in the book that isn't on the CD, that's what they told me in the shop anyway.

CD. I have more of these blasted theory tests done than most normal people and the "wax-on, wax-off" approach of the CD simulation is the only job.
