I thought that where there were two operators on a route, they had to time their services 30 minutes aprt.

I often see the 251 citylink Cork to Galway and I can nearly guarantee within 5 minutes I will see a 51 Bus Eierann service Cork to Galway
Smart 3 axle citylink on their today...i saw an even posher one the other day in some form of new livery, with a brand name I couldn't catch

Probably GoBus the new name for the BE service, fancy colour scheme and new coaches. If it was a red and white colour then that's your man.

Probably the new Bus Éireann Expressway livery.

The Citylink service is a non-stop service, and should be compared with Bus Eireann X51.

The 51 is an Interurban service, stopping at the towns en route - If Citylink operated an Interurban service on the route that would have to be 30 minutes apart from the 51.

I suspect that the coach you saw was one of the new Bus Eireann coaches in their new Expressway livery.

That's a brand of Citylink used for the non-stop Galway-Dublin Airport services, and the new Limerick-Dublin Airport services.

Perhaps one of their normal coaches wasn't available.

GoBus are not the new name or anything like it for BE. GoBus are a head to head competitor on the Dublin-Galway route and run white base coaches with a blue/red livery.

GoBE is a joint venture between BE and GoBus on the Dublin-Cork corridor and it has a white / red livery. Livery is kind of a hybrid of GoBus and BE liveries.

Beyond that in no way is "GoBus" a new name, old name or any name owned by BE.

Yes seen it passing down the Kinsale Rd(N27) from the airport the last two days, blue and white livery. It was the eire bit that caught my eye.
