A Valentines Day Special

...... Well it was still Valentines Day in Ireland. I saw this pair of St Andrews Cross Spiders out on my verandah. Went inside and grabbed the 105mm Macro. Got a few shots of the pair. The larger one is the female. I am guessing that this was probably their first date..... .... and they later shared a romantic meal. Happy…

The moral? Buy her a meal before going 'in for a coffee'.....

These are macro shots. She is only about 15mm at the widest point from "toe to toe"

He is was only about 4mm in comparison.

They are venomous but not deadly.
