Employer Incentive schemes

I just recently found out that I am eligible for a scheme where an employer would get quite a significant subsidy towards my wage should they hire me.

Would something like this work in my favour if I was to inform a potential employer about it or not?

Surely it would depend a lot on what the scheme was? Might be relevant information to mention?

I want to be careful not to identify myself but I have a mild disability so its a scheme where an employer would receive a subsidy from the DSP towards my wage.

As long as it goes in your favour, I would say that anything that gives you an advantage should be mentioned.

I would just hope for your sake that the employer has no issue with your mild disability. Is it something you would openly discuss with him/her?

Not at application stage but I wouldn't mind discussing it at an interview.

I did think about it possibly being an issue for an employer. I mentioned it to a company and they answered back with a simple 'thank you for your information" so maybe I should email back and clarify that it isn't a significant thing?

    Just a point on this,
Most of you were right, employers are only interested in academic ability.
But, I have come across a role in the not for profit sector that I think I'm a good candidate for. Im thinking given what they do it might be of more interest to them?
