    Hi all,

Just a small query. Does anyone know of any service similar to parcel motel or parcel connect that operates in Lanzarote. Basically an address that I can send mail to.

Also what would delivery times from Ireland to Lanzarote via an Post generally be.

    Thanks in advance.

Most postal services offer "Poste Restante", which is basically where the post office holds the package until the recipient comes to collect it.

Correos does offer this service on the mainland, so I can't imagine why it wouldn't be offered on the islands, but you may need to do some digging around.

Generally the idea is that you send the package addressed as follows:

    Mr Joe Bloggs,
    POSTE RESTANTE
    Oficina de Correos,
    Avda Juan Carlos I,
    35518,
    Puerto del Carmen,
    Lanzarote,
    Islas Canarias

Perhaps ask on the Lanzarote forum on Tripadvisor.com - I find them to be extremely helpful with queries - particularly ex-pats who are now living there.
