So I'm trying to have at least one pint in all the pubs in Carlow town while I'm still in the IT, from the list of pubs below am I missing any?

    Carpenters
    Reddy's
    Teach Dolmain
    The Plough
    Med Bar
    The Barracks
    Dinn Ri
    Scraggs
    Tullys
    Leverett's (still open?)
    O'Loughlins
    Market House Bar
    Ewings
    Nancy Whiskeys
    Dicey Rileys
    Castle Tavern
    Corcorans
    Courthouse
    Irishman's
    Carpe Diem

    There's 20 and I've been in 12 so far.

    Millers on the Tullow Rd.

Does it have to be within the confines of Carlow town? I.e. Does this rule the Thatch & Brennans out because they're "over the bridge"?

Mac Siuls on Kennedy St, beside Joe's Chinese Restaurant

    Stonehaven

Don't ignore the hotel bars too.

The Barrow would be the border I'd say. Been to the Thatch though. Millers is a bit out.

I'm focusing on more the pubs, so hotel bars are not necessarily on that list, but if I get a chance I'll try Seven Oaks etc...

Also is the Stonehaven not the Market House Bar?

Market House/Stonehaven the same thing though no?

With you all the way on the hotel bars; Courthouse mentioned in the OP list; Seven Oaks, Dolmen have to be added to the list too.

If Graiguecullen is included the ones I've mentioned above plus the Talbot have to be visited too......

The ones that can no longer be accessed are Durty Nellys (sp?), Saints and Sinners (soon to be a beauty salon if local sources hold up!), the Temple, the Ritz and Trumps.......I'm a blow in (not a townie) so I'm probably omitting other obvious ones....

MacSuils is closed down since sometime in 2014 I think.

Is the Workman's Bar still open? Looks "interesting" from the outside.

Workmans is open but randomly/sporadically. Think it's becoming more of a weekend thing too so you could try it Saturday nights or Sunday afternoons/evenings?

While you're in that area would the casino be on your radar from a serving/selling alcohol p.o.v.?

Don't know if they have a licence mind so strictly speaking it might not come under the remit of a pub.?

But if you stretch said aim a bit....

The rugby club is worth a visit. Plus the tennis club and hurling club when they are open.

That is stretching the aim a fair bit alright. You'd have to include restaurants and maybe even off licences then :p

Maybe when you get down to the last pub everyone in this thread can join you.

    Few pints for Carlow Boardsies

If you're including Graiguecullen which you should because it's Carlow then personally I would avoid Brennans, utter kip of a place to be totally honest.

    The Thatch is alright though!

Also Dicey Reilleys shouldn't be missed either although it has already been mentioned.
