External Wireless CCTV

HI,

Completely new to this.
Ideally I would like to have a good quality CCTV system for day and night use.
Wireless would be "handy" but not essential.

To be blunt, you won't get anthing decent for that money.

What are your requirement of footage? Facial recognition? Car registration recording? Just a general view?

Mainly it would be for general viewing.
Including a "Who's at the door " type of display.
It would need some reasonable Face Recognition facility.

The market is flooded with all different types of CCTV. Hikvision is good gear. I would go for ip if your budget allowed.

What should I look for .... spec wise ?
Main requirement is to see " who's at the door " and be able to recognize them,
also to record the same while we are out... and again be able to recognize them.
Day and night times...

Motion activation ??? Useful or just a fancy add on ???
Wireless .. any better than wired ... ??
