Connecting within Heathrow T2

    Hi all!

Has anyone connected within t2 recently? I am planning to arrive in t2 from dublin and leave t2 for canada, all booked with air canada, no baggage collection. The LHR wesbite says 60 minutes advised, but this seems quite long within a terminal. The flight I am looking at only gives 60 minutes and I am concerned it will be tight.

I did a connection from T2 to T3 and took about an hour so within T2 would be grand. If the LHR website says 60 mins then you should be fine if your inbound flight is delayed the airline will have to put you on the next flight.

I have only been in T2 once since it opened and it is quite small and well laid out. I would think that 60 minutes would be ok to get from gate to gate however if your flight is later leaving Dublin and has to circle over Heathrow you could find it a bit tight.

Thanks guys. I actually decided to play it safe and have gotten a two hour stop over now. It was Air Canada and they first were only giving me an option of the 1 hour stop over, the next day they gave me the 2 hour stop over option so went for that. It was the sort of thing that a 15 minute delay could too easily mess up the connection, and even though I'd have been on the next flight out it would have made for a stressful start to a break!
