Carbon Monox alarm and MVHR

What are the regs/best practice with regards to carbon monoxide alarm and the MVHR system?

I understand a smoke alarm should be wired into the MVHR system so to shut it off incase of a fire so not to feed it.

What about the CM alarm? It makes sense that it wouldnt be wired into it as you want the MVHR to clear the house of the CM?

    Any guidance?

Never was great at the science symbols, should be co. On a side note not uncommon to have deaths from co2.

I recently installed a Nest combined smoke detector & CO alarm. Upon detection of CO these devices can turn of the most likley source of carbon monoxide, the boiler by switching off the associated Nest thermostat.
