Wallpapering rough walls

The walls in my living room are quite rough; deep enough to be noticed and not smoothed by painting but less than 1mm deep (maybe 0.25mm) patches. If I was to paper the walls I assume this would smooth it out; that the adesive isn't theat strong it would pull the paper into the dints in the wall?

Is it still about €20 a roll to have someone hang it?

Sorry about the spelling, I'm at work with no spell check.

    Thanks in advance!

You'd be getting it cheap at €25 a roll to be hung.

The more textured the paper the more bumps it will hide and matt papers will hide more than shiny or satin paper.
