Old or new shape? €4000 and see what interest you get. Make sure you take good pictures from every angle of car and interior and optimise them for web viewing. Nothing worse than waiting an eternity for pics to load when you're looking through DD and similar sites. New NCT is a big plus and will help get the sale. Also make sure you give a full and accurate description of the car and condition. The quality of your ad makes a big difference IMO.

Did it have the injectors replaced under the VW recall? Some of those 2.0 TDi engines had problems with the oil pump shaft, was it ever replaced?

The general perception out there is that the 1.9 TDi is more reliable than the 2.0 TDi which makes the 2.0 TDi less desirable. If the above were already addressed then it would help sell it faster.

A bag of sand if the recall work has not been done.

Heard of lots of issues on 2.0 tdi but then from 2008 they sorted the problem.

Because the ones from 2008+ had new Commonrail units instead of the PD units
