moto g 4G v moto g 3g

    H, looking at 2 sim free moto g's in argos, both around the same price. One is 4G, 1 3g but with a 8mb camera v a 5mb. I'm a complete tech phobe so could anyone recommend either or 1 over the other? Like is the 4G much quicker than the 3g? Thanks.

    Yeah 4g is quicker alright but how much mobile data would you use? Presumably at home you'd be on Wi-Fi? Depending on the area I've got 4g speeds of up to 20mbps, 3g would be around 5mbps. But 4g coverage is not great in Ireland yet. Its great in Dublin city centre but can be hit and miss elsewhere.
    As for the moto g, its a great budget price phone, got one myself a few weeks ago (2nd gen, 5" display, dual sim, 3g only. Its a decent phone and will do me until the new gen HTC comes out later in the year. Screen is lovely and the phone is light and feels great to hold. Camera is OK, 8 mp but no zoom. Have noticed that it can struggle from time to time with multi tasking.
