I just can't believe I can't get one anywhere on this fecking Island ??? I mean seriously ???

It's for an Odroid C1, I thought it could be powered by the usb like the Raspberry Pi but it can't.

    Radionics, NO

    Maplin NO

All the usual places in Ireland NO

All I am told is "we can order one from England"

This country is seriously difficult to find a lot of things !

Anyone who has one for sale Carlow/Kildare/Dublin/Carlow/Wicklow please PM me.

    Thanks.

    Thanks.

can you convert a usb cable to use something like this

    http://www.pcworld.ie/product/iwantit-mains-and-incar-2a-usb-charger/309359/196.2

or something like this comes with a few different tips and should deliver over 2A at 5V

I don't want a multi bit power supply because it's a waste for what I want it for and they are more expensive.

A usb to DC cable would work but I can't find one of those leads in Ireland either.

I want to be able to get it this weekend and don't want to have to wait days from the U.K.

Yep, did already, unfortunately the 2 of them are in Cork !

I can't believe the power supply and the USB to DC cable are that hard to get in Ireland !

Their hardly the most popular interface to charge a device. The only thing that I have that doesn't use a USB to charge it is an old xbox 360 wireless headset. I've had similar connections in the past and found them to be a pain cause hard to get a replacement.

I make sure the devices I'm getting all use micro USB. So I only need to carry one cables if needed.

One reason I didn't buy the PSU on the website is because I thought it would have been powered from the micro usb port but isn't.

I gave up and ordered one on line.
