    Hi
I had an interview in one of the big convenience shops last Friday and I still haven't been contacted.
Do you think I should call the manager or wait out a bit longer. He said he had a few more interviews to carry out.

I've never chase up following an interview because it's just bound to be annoying for them. If you're hired they'll let you know - they're not going to forget.

If you were unsuccessful, hopefully they will also let you know, but this is normally done later.

Dont be afraid to follow up even if you dont get the job, you can always ask for some feed back which could help in the future. However I would wait another week before calling them.

    Hi Hollister11,
From personal experience it's just best to wait it out and as each day passes it becomes more unlikely you got the job.

Sure, some people like to contact a company in regards to if they were successful but there really is no point to. As the company has already made their minds up to your application.

NewCorkLad made a point above with getting feedback. But there are varibles with this. Such as:
1, You would have to speak to the person who interviewed you but they will be busy with their daily duties. So can you really expect someone to take time out to talk to an unsuccessful applicant?
2, We're also talking about retail here. Said busy managers schedule dozens of interviews and you were just another applicant. You can't expect anything more than 'generic advice' if you were to even get it.

So Hollister11... just take it as it is :)
