Welfare paid directly to bank account

    Hi

    I usually get paid directly to my bank account every thursday. Today there was a bit of a mix up and payment didnt come through. I Got problem sorted. Todays payment is now being paid to my bank account on monday instead.

    What are the chances that this payment will make my account this weekend instead of monday? I am just asking because when I was working and when ever pay day was a monday the money would always hit the account on the saturday.

    Hi,

    Did you ask Social Welfare if there was any chance the payment would reach your account before Monday?

    Generally speaking transfers can take a number of working days (Monday - Friday) to be processed, given that tomorrow is Friday it is probably not likely that it would hit your account before Monday.... but, it could happen.

    No I never asked them. I just got thinking of it when I got home. Hopefully it comes in saturday..
