I currently have a Dell Inspiron 6400 which is starting to show its age, but I am reluctant to change it as I find the touchpad/button layout comfortable.

Any of the newer style laptops I have seen either have no buttons, or the buttons feel unresponsive and plasticky.

Can anyone recommend a model of laptop which comes with responsive left/right touchpad buttons?

I'm not sure about the current models, however, my Lenovo x230 has buttons

Have a Lenovo from work myself and its trackpad is excellent. They're design seems to be the same as it was 10 yrs ago, can't beat tried and tested design..

Lenovo were great but they have changed too and the nice keyboard is also gone.
