Car Insurance with Non-Motoring Conviction

    Hello,

    I have a minor drugs conviction from a few years ago and need to get car insurance. (3 months suspended sentence)

    Driving 10 years , no penalty points or any other convictions.

    Can anyone tell me of any car insurance companies who only ask about motoring related offences?

    In the online quote for one company the 'Assumptions' said nothing about declaring 'any' previous criminal convictions, but the policy document sent by post does. It seems the online information was only for the quote not the policy.

    Any information gratefully received.
