    Hi

I'm looking for a cheap sat receiver, it will be use only very occasionally for a couple of hours so I won't need anything fancy,

Main requirements needed hdmi output and been able to install enigma or some other similar image, USB to update channels list and other plug-ins.

Now I have a close for a 500s but no HDMI connection.

Will be use for Astra 28e

    Thanks

Mods if it should be posted somewhere else please move. Thanks

Something like the Gigablue se800 plus or ue800 maybe....

Can run enigma2....and can be programmed to provided a 7 day guide as well which is handy.

If you want recording options the quad range is the way to go.

Does it need to be Linux?

I'd go for cloud ibox 2 plus. Get for about 75Euro. runs E2.
    So get 7 day epg.
    I've 2 for a year now & haven't given any trouble.

Just checked with fall in Euro probably talking 85/90 now from UK for an ibox .
Ferguson Ariva are cheap reliable but basic box.
There is also Openbox cheap & basic although I think the F5X can do a 7 day epg.
