    Hi there,

Recently started looking for a new job in marketing(ish) role and decided to research what salary I should be paid before getting invovled in recruitment process's - just as a guideline and benchmark

So tried the old google search and there seems to be a hundred and one different salary surveys out there, many with conflicting advice, figures and some seem to be from back to 2010, and I assume salaries have moved a bit since then.

Someone the other day did mention to me a live or real-time salary guide/survey but I can't seem to find it.

Any ideas on that would be appreciated or if anyone knows of the site that was mentioned to me that might be useful as well.

    Thanks

A few recruitment agencies publish pay scales (here's one), but obviously they want to get people thinking about moving jobs. But it's probably a good starting point.

Thanks Eoin, there are hundreds of them altogether confusing. Someone mentioned or I heard about a live/real time site fir salaries but I can't seem to find it.

Just thought someone on here may have come across it or could point me in the right direction

Glassdoor sounds to be the site your looking for. Pick a company that would have the job you are looking for and look at the salaries for that role.

Thanks for that suggestion, I came across that one, before.

I'm sure I heard there was a specifically Irish site, not one of the global efforts like glass door.

Thanks again, I'll keep lookinig and if I come across it I'll post back.

Hi there thanks everyone for your advice and help, I think after a bit of digging around I have found the site I either heard about or read about - it is called mysalary :) kind of logical when you are looking for My salary related information :)

It seems to be a fairly new Irish based website and domain.

Thanks again for all your help
