100% agree, absolute classics, like slippers. Still worn by countless players. OP looking for SG boots so World Cups are the boys!

Do they last a long time? Have thought if getting them but they're pricey. But if they last longer than other ones I'd prefer to make an investment.

Id say try sportsdirect or go to a shop first . They are usually only around 100

They are made from K (kangaroo) leather. Like all leather, they will last ages (until you kick the toes out) if you look after them. Clean them after use and regularly apply a leather cream/dubbin etc.

Adidas World cups were €100 off sports d. last week. Bought a pair for my lad.

Spot on - Classic, been around for years... but best boots in my opinion.

    Copa Mundial - multi stud
    World cup - SG

Once I got these I never considered wearing any other boot - and they never change...

    Preference in order would be

    World Cups
    Preditors
    Puma Kings

Ideally you'd have a pair of World Cups and Copa Mondials. If your foot isn't going to grow any more you could get two seasons out of both pairs as you would be alternating a lot. They are pricey but usually available in Sportsworld for around €100.

Problem with the predictors is a bit too much colour other than black on them. Wasn't too bad when it was just a bit of red on them but now its highlighter pinks and greens.

Puma Kings are also really decent but like World Cups/Cops's, you should get a pair of FG and SG boots.

Another decent option that wont break the bank is the Nike Magista.

I've only had mine a few months and they only get used for coaching soccer so wouldn't have much stress on them but I've seen lads wear them for years. I'm a 4ft 10 female with small feet and it took me ages to find a pair. Eventually got a size 4 from Sports Direct for €80. I'm hoping to get four years out of them.

Just giving a bump. Back playing after a two year break. The particular style of puma king I used to wear is no longer around and I don't like the new ones much. Been looking at the Copa mundial and want to give them a go. For those who have worn them, do they stretch much in width? The length in a size 9 is perfect, but a little tight in width. Don't really want to have to size up to 9.5 as they would have too much toe-room

Asics lethal testimonial are a serious boot. Very lightweight and good for a slightly wider foot if your that way inclined. Pity umbro don't still do the classic specialis, they were the perfect boot

Superb for curling it with the outside of the boot, right over the black spot from 50-60 yards, I find

Agreed 100%. Great boot. Only ever had the one pair which I got late in my 'career'. They're now showing signs of wear and tear after 13 years or so, but still get used every week for the 3G kickabout.

I'd buy a new pair only I'm the wrong side of 50! Couldn't see another 13 years needed!! :D

I'd have said 70-80 yards, but let's split hairs
