Ive done some tiling before for family and friends and all have been happy with my work and now my sister is looking me to tile her ensuite with mosic type tiles but I've never came across these type of tiles before. They are large tiles, 300x500(i think) but they are like normal tiles only with the mosaic face that don't bend and wriggle about like mosaic.

What I want to know is after i install the tiles, do I grout the lines that are already on the face or just in the parts where the cuts are. I know this question proberly sounds silly to you tilers but its just I've just never came across these tiles before. If it was a paid job, I would let someone else do it but its a freebie for the sis.

Grout everything, you might have to leave a half mm gap between each tile to get the proper finish. There not the most ideal tile to have with the amount of grout that going to be used, and grout gets dirty with time

    Can I tile over tiles?

Some advice but maybe it's too late. Mosaic tiles look great. We put them in a bathroom about 10 years ago. They get grubby very quickly and as agusta said the grout gets dirty and is very difficult to keep. If I had the choice again, I would steer well clear of mosaic - they have become a PIA to keep clean especially in a bathroom which is a natural environment for mildew and mold.
