    Thank you for that. Pam Ayres has always made me laugh, though my friends who are more into 'proper' poetry than I am, hate her. I must say when I read her poems I can hear her voice which is an absolutely necessity, and adds so much more to my enjoyment of her poems.

    I can't imagine anyone actually hating Pam Ayres. I can see why her poems wouldn't suit everyone, but she seems to be such a lovely person.

    I don't think she actually wrote that poem btw - I'm sure I saw somewhere that although it was touted as her, it wasn't.

    Aw no, well, it certainly is very like what she might write. However, it is important that the original creator of the poem is credited of course, when they are tracked down. Gosh, I can still hear Pam's voice, it'll be in my head all day now! :D
