    Yourself, your learner permit and a car that has L plates, valid NCT, tax & insurance discs.

    Check that all of the lights are working on the car. One of my brothers borrowed my sisters nearly new Auris for his test because the nct was out on his car. The tester wouldn't test him because one of the brake lights wasn't working! And my missus's tester had a little whinge because the fuel light had just come on when doing her test. So make sure there's a decent amount of juice in it. And good luck!
