I've a prolite rear wheel you can have for €30. There'd be a 10 speed cassette going in a few days too, can chuck it on for you at no extra cost. Based in Drumcondra/City Centre, would be out in D18 next weekend, most likely.

Also have a planet x model b front wheel you can have for an extra €15. No skewers though... Although I can probably find some somewhere.

Rear wheel wouldn't be much use for anything bar turbo. Front wheel is well worn, but still functional.

EDIT: You're not in D18... Misread that!

Hi Dave, rear wheel and cassette sounds perfect. Can meet in the city centre during the week or south Dublin if you are out this way

It is indeed. I'm picking up a new set of wheels in a week or so, and my current winter wheels will get retired. You'd be welcome to them for €30? Rear only for €20, no tyre or cassette or possibly skewer...

Hi Dave, to be honest, I'm a bit useless when it comes to bikes, don't suppose you'd be willing to fit a cheap cassette to it for me (I'd pay you for the cassette obviously or could get one delivered to you (by wiggle)! No harm in asking! :)

If you show up with the cassette, I'd show you how and let you use my tools. Teach a man to fish...

I actually live in Galway but I am in Dublin now and again at weekends but usually southside! Don't suppose you ever cross the river? :)

I'm checking with a friend of mine if he could give me a hand with it, and I'll get back to you bit definitely interested!

No hurry. I'm often southside; family home's over there. I'm sure we could arrange something, but as I said, mightn't be free for a few weeks: hand is too broken to be changing cassettes and tyres around for the time being.

Grand job, hadn't realised you were hurt! :(

I'll be in touch as quick as I can.
