right, this is probably the wrong place to post this but i couldnt find anywhere more suited. Im wondering does anyone know where i could sell football memorbillia? My grandfather has tickets to all games at Wembely including the final for the 1966 world cup. He also has a few FA cup final tickets from the late 60s. He tells me there worth a few quid and he wants to sell but i dont know where he would even try to sell them. Any one any ideas if its even worth the hassle?

There's a collectables and antiques forum around here somewhere. Maybe get the thread moved there?

Best place to sell that sort of stuff is ebay. Do a few searches as it should give you an idea as to what it's worth. 1966 stuff is generally a bit more valuable than for other World Cups as there's much more of a market in England than pretty much anywhere else

eBay is probably your best bet.... Massive audience and very convenient. The World Cup tickets should make a few quid, cup finals more variable but worth a punt. Make sure you get good scans and describe them carefully.

The other option is a dedicated sports auction house (e.g. google Sporting Memories or Graham Budd) but it's a lot more hassle and you're looking at comission. To be honest your stuff is probably not worth auctioning, but you could email and enquire.

I tried to do it on eBay but I need to set up a PayPal account or something. I'm as clueless as the grandfather when it comes to that kinda thing. Just looking for some shop or something that would buy them. Thanks for advice.

Contact Peter at Collectibles Corner. He'll let you know if they're worth including in an auction.
