Playing with GoPro Hero 4 nightlapse and timelapse

    I was away recently and played around with the timelapse modes on the Hero4, especially the long exposure night lapse mode. Few mistakes along the way (moving camera accidentally etc). No post production added by me (apart from a slight tweak in brightness/contrast to the first nightlapes as I changed exposure length half way though for some stupid reason).

    The night time shots are impressive for the go pro. I didn't think they were capable of that kind of image in low light.

    those are pretty cool!
    i have a hero 3, and time lapse is so NOT good on it :D
    & night time, forget about it....
    i guess the 4 has been tweaked enough to allow decent recording at night!

    They have custom exposure settings now for night shots. First vid was 5 sec exposure 2nd was 2 sec last was auto (as far as I remember). I think there is an exposure compensation setting as well must check.
