Just bought a new 588 wedge but noticed it has zip grooves? Thought I read somewhere they are now illegal. Will be pretty annoyed if so as I bought online.

You are going to jail unfortunately.

Nah, You can play the non-conforming grooves in everything bar the highest tier of amateur game, it really has no bearing on most of us.

Pretty sure someone posted an online list of all the non conforming clubs on here somewhere a while back.

I'm sure you can dig it up somewhere to confirm. I'd be amazed if any of the 588 series were non conforming, that's their current set isn't it? Maybe some of the old CG series wedges could be non conforming at this stage though
