    Hi,
I have the option of getting either of these 2 phones for free as an upgrade. They both get decent reviews but was wondering which one is better?Im on the fence about both of them.

I have had Sony Experia's before and like them but wouldnt mind a change..

Any reason to pick one phone over the other?

I'd definitely go with the huawei g7 if you're okay with the size. Has better specs and I have a big dislike towards sony from experience with one of their phones.

In particular the screen on the xperia m2 is very cheap. Low resolution TFT display that feels like plastic due to not being OGS, which means it has an air gap between the glass and display. This gives lower contrast and high reflectivity. Huawei uses a proper IPS screen with OGS (screen bonded to glass) like all high end phones. It also has 2gb ram, more internal storage, metal build, better cameras..

G7! 2gb ram! Big screen 5.5" fun. M2 is an old yoke now.

Have to say I like it.

Its a little bit too big for ease of use in one hand screen wise...but the bigger screen makes gaming a bit better.

really like the interface and it has a decent build quality.

The main camera is excellent I have to say.

Will worth it as a free upgrade.

How do you find the sharpness of the screen reading small text and such?

tbh I find it fine havent noticed any issues where I'd notice it anyway.Only really read my kindle and a one or 2 news apps.Web pages seem fine too.

Hi, sorry to barge in to an old thread but I am thinking of getting a G7 and I have 2 questions that I am having difficulty getting answered.

What is the screen made of - is it glass, gorilla glass or plastic, and is it anyway scratch resistant?

What is the 4G like on it

    Thanks in advance
(I would like a oneplus one really, but the extra cost and 4g difficulties are ruling it out)

dont know what type of screen it has.And I dont have 4g so cant answer that either, sorry.

Screen for me is scratch free so far but Ive only had it a month.
Sorry couldnt be of more help.Maybe somebody else will chime in for you.
