    Can I add my husband to my current account and make it a joint account?

    Thanks for your post.

    It is not possible to change a sole account to a joint account. To open a joint account, you and your husband will need to make an appointment and visit one of our branches.

    Upon opening of the account, you will be provided with a new account number however it may be possible to transfer your existing standing orders and direct debits to the new account. A representative in your branch will be happy to discuss this with you in more detail. You can book an appointment with your branch here

    Some of our branches also have Saturday morning opening to arrange meetings with advisers. Information on this here
