    Ok so my Acer windows 8.1 got infected and then ended up with this issue,i managed to solve it temporarily,managed to get into task manager and delete explorer.exe and retype and it comes back but its not permanent,as soon as i restart the comp it starts back again,anybody know a PERM solution

    so you can log into the pc, but restarting it causes the problems ?


    do you have your windows cd ?


    do this if you can

    Download OTL to your Desktop
    • Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
    • Click the Quick Scan button. Do not change any settings. The scan wont take long.
    • When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
    • Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files here
