    Also what is your goal?

    I've read some great stuff on S&C to compliment my training, I've read some excellent tips on cutting weight for competition and I've read some interesting articles on scoring techniques for my own particular martial art, but...

    I've yet to come across a book that proved in any way more beneficial than a practical session hitting pads/clinching/sparring as regards to learning technique.

    Which martial art? Little point recommend Andre Galvao's or Eddie Bravo's books for a kickboxer.

    But tbh, I find technique video have made books a little redundant
