    does it matter what generation??

i have a spotless set of older gen centaur...the good ones!!
    alloy blades...
hoods like new..levers have done very very little mileage..
    €100

i know you can buy veloce new for €120 but there is no comparison in build quality.

    Thanks countrykid..

The new carbon ones are 150 on Merlin, so might hold out for a discount on those..

I have older gen Chorus (carbon), and would love to keep them if they can be serviced..Not enough on the first click or 2..

Can you post a pic of the centaur ones you have please?

Can't get them to upload on my phone for some reason ?!?

Also keep in mind you could transfer your lovely carbon blades onto these in 2 minutes...
Essentially giving you chorus levers again (aesthetically anyway!)

It's clicking on the finger shifter but not enough to shift up (rear cassette)

It means I have it set fairly tight to make up for a missing shift.

Where is best to get it serviced?

There is a guy who posts here the odd time on here from the Campy main service centre in the UK called GFK velo....I think his name is Graeme. He will service them although if you can get the indent disc and g springs as spares (easy enough) they are handy enough to service. PLenty of vids on youtube

I have looked at the various options and the best seems to change the lever on these ones.

    I'll offer 75 euro, sir.

Actually you can buy the whole body for the shifter and just transfer your brake blade over to it meaning you have a brand new shifter. It is probably the handiest way as getting decent second hand 10speed stuff is getting harder and harder. It is the route I was going when I had shifter trouble.
You can then keep your old shifter for spares (always handy) or stick it on eBay for a few quid
