Do you want to be in the city centre? What's your price range?

Cheapest I'm getting is a hotel (The Morgan Hotel) in Temple Bar for 210 euro - From Booking.com

OP, I suggest you look further afield, i.e, moreso the suburbs of Dublin City. 300 - 500 odd for a hotel for one night is madness!

If you can get out of the 14th do so.

Rugby international that day, hotels are always insane prices.

Yep. It's a rugby weekend AND its Valentines Day. There is not a hope in hell of getting somewhere decent, at a decent price, especially not at the last minute.

I was just out having a meeting with someone in Bewleys in Ballsbridge this morning. There was a sign in the elevator advertising Bed, Breakfast and Dinner for €89pp for Valentines. Not exactly the fanciest hotel, but the breakfast was good!

Clarion Liffey Valley. Bus stop a few minutes away to the city.

    Depends on what suburb though!!

Best Western Sheldon Park? right beside the Luas in to town too.

Google Dublin hotels with pool and there's your best answers!

Hope you get what you want, and have a ball.
