Freeview built into TV

I want to get a new TV that has a Freeview tuner built in. I know all TV's in Ireland have Saorview built in. (In case people are confused Saorview is the Irish channels that come in through an aeriel and Freeview are the english channels that you can get from a satellite dish)

I previously had Freeview this way:
Satellite dish - connected to - Freeview box - connected to - TV

My Freeview box broke and the TV is old so want to get it all in one. Is it as simple as connecting the satellite dish cable to the back of the new TV and tuning it in?

    Thanks!

Before you buy anything get your terminology right or you could buy the wrong thing. FreeView is the UK terrestrial service using an aerial if you are near the border or parts of the East coast. FreeSat uses a dish. There are a few FreeSat tvs but they are expensive and cannot easily switch between satellite and terrestrial (Saorview). Other TVs have built-in satellite tuners but are only Free-To-Air (FTA) which means manual tuning and now/next EPG for sat.

Thanks Gerry yes I want Freesat. So Is a regular TV plus Freesat box a better way to go?

I would recommend a combo box that combines satellite and terrestrial in one box, one list. Boxes such as the Amiko Alien 2 have two satellite tuners and a terrestrial tuner. This means you can watch or record up to 3 different channels at once. The second satellite tuner will need a second cable from the dish if you don't already have one, but the box will still work with only one satellite feed and a terrestrial aerial for the Irish channels.
