Dry Burning Coils (RBA)

    Lads this is now working an absolute treat for me (I tried to find the thread where we were on about this but couldn't)!

    I guess I had a poor understanding of what dry burning entailed and never really managed it but its super now. To just have to rewick rather than constantly do a full build is just excellent. God knows how many good coils i've chucked!

    Anyway, cheers for spurring me on!

    Like I said in another post. I haven't changed out my coils in a few months. I don't see the point when dry burning gets you 95%+ of the way there.

    In some ways it's probably better than building a new coil. Less crap from the actual wire needs to burnt off to settle the thing in.

    Dry burning works a treat for me for about a month or so, depending on how much I use the tank. After a while the coil just won't deliver that much of a performance. I'd recommend a soft metal brush to remove the residue after the dry burn, especially if you're into more advanced coil builds
