Just looking for opinions on whether or not the above seems a good price? I'm looking to buy anew car but just can't make up my mind. Was originally going to go the finance route and buy something real flash but the rates are just too high. So looking for a straight cash buy now. I have 10k and a 00 Opel Astra to offload!

That's alot of money for something with that mileage and basic enough spec imo. Would you consider a Passat CC instead for similar money? Lower mileage, higher spec and not every second car on the road is one.

Also your Astra is near worthless to a dealer and anything they give you is just reducing the discount on the other car. Try and sell the Astra privately, anything you get for it will be better than what a dealer will offer you for it.

Ok, I've finally decided I want a Honda Accord. don't want to spend more than 5k. Find me a great one please?

I've started a few threads here and gotten loads of good advice but I'm now literally asking for someone to wipe my ass for me and hand me the best accord available in my price range?

    Cheers!

People here can show you plenty of accords that look to be decent. Any of them could be lemons. Take a competent mechanic with you once you find one you like and get him to give it a good going over.

Yeah I wont be looking to hold any boardsies accountable if I buy a dud. Ive just no idea of specs or what a decent price would be for an 07 with 200k km on it. Should I go with a diesel or petrol model?

So Im just hoping a few links can be posted and then I can just take note of what people consider good value.

    Cheers
