    hi there
I am a young farmer in training and recently rented 25 acers of land on which I hope to go out on my own and get a herd number on. it will be in tillage for the first year then reseeded. I was just wondering has anybody done anything like this or what is the best way to go about it .... thanks

If you putting in corn under sow it with grass seed. After you cut the corn the grass will grow up through the stubble and you won't need to plough it again. You could also cut it as arable silage.
